Rachel knows me as her beloved. Chad, Amanda, Daniel and David know me as Dad. To Samuel, Cora, Ashlyn, Elijah, Samson, and Daniel I carry titles of both Grandpa and Papa T. My brothers Kent and Russell have known me the longest, and choose to love me in spite of their long-standing knowledge of my shortcomings.  My family has provided the basic framework for my desire to write and share what God has revealed to me over many years.

In 1978 my good friend and mentor, Dr. Charles (Chuck) Warne, shared with me a revelation that God had shared with him of the 8 dimensions of the universe and commented that, "God hasn't released me to write but rather to share these things (of this one revelation) with you," to which I quickly replied, "Well Chuck, I'll write the book!"

Little did I know that my knee-jerk response to write about things I had not yet fully grasped, would lead to my own personal and seasoned relationship with God, where his Spirit would reveal to me many more truths of Scripture as I spent time in his word, seeking his way.

It took me nearly 30 years, and while pleasantly distracted with other life blessings (family and business), I finally had a work nearly worthy of publication. This great man, Chuck, who has since earned his reward in heaven, planted a seed that blossomed into a tree.

In 2009, it soon became clear though that the encyclopedia sized volume of writings I had amassed was not going to speak to the greater public. On the whole, there's not great desire to carry around a 10 lb. book. There had to be greater specificity and purpose and smaller sections or books. And so in early 2010 my wife Rachel encouraged me to write my first book, Character Caveat, with the idea that character studies are more readily identifiable than the more meaty material that would follow in successive books. Character Caveat was published in May 2010. In January of 2012 Spiritual Authority-How to Take the Land was published; The Cup Before Us: Signs, Judgments and Salvation in December of 2014; and God's Covenant in September of 2015.

I still have the original 8.5" x 11" sized, voluminous, bound book of my original thoughts sitting on my desk at our home office. I have seen the wisdom in breaking apart that first work into smaller, specific books for your edification and admonition.  Throughout the publication process of each successive book, it has been an opportunity for me to revisit the truths of God's word and their application for modern day Christians including myself.

While I enjoy my hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, my wife and I have come to enjoy the people and places surrounding our home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Not to mention the sunshine and blue skies that abound in this beautiful part of Florida that beg for their enjoyment.

I received a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Physics from Oklahoma University. I attended the Episcopal Seminary and Pittsburgh Bible Institute.

​

I worked with my family in Rockwell International for a number of years and later moved onto Astrotech where I was VP of Operations-Space for several years, all prior to dedicating my time solely to writing.

​

As you read through the books that I've written, my prayer for you is that God will add to your understanding so that you can grow in the grace of his character and in his power so that you can be a beacon of light in your community.
